Perform duties to set up and operate CNC Mills and lathes to produce a variety of parts in accordance with required specifications and work quality standards. Work from setup sheets, prints, program, routers and instructions: Report daily production in ERP system
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Setup and operate Mills, Lathes and Swiss Turning Centers-
Ensure equipment is in constant use.
Read and interpret prints and process instructions.
Gauge and inspect work to engineering specifications.
Manufacture and inspect part to blueprint specifications.
Perform first piece, in-process, and last piece inspection per print.
Inspect parts and maintain quality assurance records.
Assist others with processing, methods, and work habits to maintain maximum efficiency.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Ability to read and use micrometers and dial calipers accurately.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Good organizational and planning skills.
Great written and verbal communication skills in addition to interpersonal skills required
Education and/or Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
5 to 10 years’ experience setting up and programming CNC Milling/Turning machines.
3 to 5 years’ experience in the machining industry
Haas/Tsugami experience preferred, but not necessary
Pay range $20 - $35/hour based on experience.
