Location: Smyrna GA. If you do not live within commuting distance of our Smyrna office, we are open to a hybrid work arrangement. However, frequent travel to the Smyrna office will be required

Position Summary:
The Director of International Marketing develops and executes integrated marketing strategies that drive global brand awareness, market penetration, and sales growth across multiple regions. Reporting to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO), this hands-on role is responsible for leading digital marketing initiatives, managing channel marketing programs, proactively developing leads, and coordinating successful international product launches in alignment with the company’s commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive international marketing plans that support global sales objectives, and revenue targets.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns (including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising) tailored to regional utility, industrial, marine, oil and gas segments.
  • Oversee implementation of new, multi-regional websites and website content to include tailored video content.
  • Design and manage channel marketing programs that strengthen relationships with distributors, agents, and partners to drive co-branded promotions and joint marketing activities.
  • Lead the planning and execution of new product launches in international markets, including launch timelines, messaging, promotional materials, and training for local sales and distributor teams.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and acquire customer insights to inform strategic decisions for market entry, growth opportunities, and market pricing.
  • Ownership of price file and partake in leadership of pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, sales, and regional sales teams to develop localized marketing content and sales enablement tools.
  • Organize and oversee participation in international trade shows, exhibitions, webinars, and virtual events to promote brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital campaigns, channel marketing initiatives, and product launch outcomes, using insights to optimize future activities.
  • Manage and track the international marketing budget to ensure cost-effective allocation of resources across channels and regions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global market trends, emerging digital platforms, and regional regulations affecting marketing and advertising.
  • Lead and develop the internal small team of marketing specialists along with coordinating with agency partners & subcontractors on marketing campaigns.
  • Define and track KPIs aligned with campaign effectiveness, lead generation, channel engagement, and international market growth.
  • Proficiency with tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, Salesforce, SEMrush, or equivalent platforms preferred.
  • Serve as a bridge between global marketing and regional sales teams to ensure alignment of go-to-market strategies.
  • Ensure global brand consistency while tailoring messaging and assets to regional markets and buyer personas.
  • Ensure compliance with international advertising standards, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and export marketing guidelines.
  • Ensure all communications are properly localized to reflect regional language standards. For example, use 'labour' for the UK and 'labor' for the US, with accurate grammar, spelling, and tone appropriate to the target audience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, International Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Progressive experience in business-to-business international marketing, including proven expertise in digital marketing, channel partner marketing, and product launches. Preferred experience in industrial, manufacturing, distribution markets.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-region marketing campaigns and driving measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of cultural, legal, and economic factors influencing global marketing strategies.
  • Experience working with international distributors, agents, or channel partners.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Multilingual proficiency is a plus.
