Summary

Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Laundry Team as our Overnight Linen Runner at the Hyatt Regency Seattle!

The Overnight Linen Runner is responsible for distributing linen to various storage areas within the hotel. This colleague will ensure linen closets and storage areas are fully stocked to the appropriate par levels. This position requires the ability to count and record inventory of hotel terry and linen. This colleague must have the ability to pull and push heavy loads and walk/stand for the majority of the scheduled shift. The Overnight Linen Runner may be the designated responder to a limited number of guest requests in the overnight hours. The Overnight Linen Runner is an important contact between the Housekeeping Department and the Laundry Department, and will report to the Laundry Manager.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.20/hour to $25.70/hour. The starting rate for this position is $25.20/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the position for four years or more, which is currently offered at $25.70/hour. For overnight shifts worked, a $2.00/hour overnight differential will be added.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in hotel laundry preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk throughout hotel including from the Laundry facility to and between guest room floors and anywhere else linen is to be picked up/dropped off
  • Must be able to count and record linen inventory
  • Must be able to communicate with guests
