Job Title: Food and Beverage Quality Assurance Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Quality Assurance professional to join our team. This role involves ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will report directly to the QA Manager and work on a rotating schedule with first and second shifts available. Responsibilities + Complete product evaluation and risk assessments. + Conduct QA for shipping and receiving. + Calibrate equipment and perform pH assessments. + Adjust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct audits. + Ensure food safety and compliance with HACCP, CCPs, GMPs, and SQF certifications. + Assist with preparing for FDA audits. + Perform lab tests, including pH/brix/color assessments. + Communicate effectively within the team and with other departments. + Multi-task and work collaboratively in groups and teams. Essential Skills + Knowledge of HACCP, CCPs, GMPs, and SQF certifications. + Experience with food safety protocols and lab testing. + Ability to conduct Ph/brix/color assessments. + Strong communication skills. + Ability to multi-task and work effectively in teams. + Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field. + Experience with Quality Control, Inspection, and Documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong personality with the ability to coach and teach proper SOP standards. + Self-starter with a desire to learn and grow within the company. + Emphasis on having a presence and being proactive at work. Work Environment You will be working in a large production/warehouse environment with a rotating schedule. The first shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and the second shift runs from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and standards, and a professional demeanor at all times. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $38.00/hr.
