**Kelly Science & Clinical** is excited to share an job opportunity for an **R&D Chemist Assistant I** with at premier food company! **Position: R&D Chemist Assistant I** **Pay:** $22-$24 per hour, DOE (Depends on Experience) **Qualifications:** + B.S. in Food Technology or a related field, or equivalent education/experience + Familiarity with lab environments and the metric system + Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally + Flexibility to report to various company facilities, sometimes on short notice (same day) **Key Responsibilities:** + Prepare stock samples for customer evaluation and internal quality testing + Support R&D Chemists in daily tasks and project execution + Assist with product improvements using existing or new raw materials + Receive direction from the R&D Manager and other senior R&D personnel + Collaborate with Quality Control, Production, and intercompany labs regarding procedures and resources + Maintain a positive, professional work environment with effective communication and teamwork + Compound both new and existing products-including juice concentrates and flavors-based on defined requirements + Accurately document and record all completed work + Perform required QC tests and analysis on new or modified products + Maintain an adequate lab inventory to meet customer sample requests + Conduct shelf-life and stability studies + Assist in the Quality Control department as needed + Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure proper handling and timely shipment of customer samples + Keep the work area clean and organized + Perform other duties and special projects as assigned **Apply Now** by clicking **Quick Apply** -a Kelly Recruiter will reach out to you, If this role isn't the right fit, please visit our Kelly Jobs site for more exciting opportunities.
