Job Description

Description We are looking for a Security Network Engineer to lead efforts in protecting our organization's critical infrastructure from cyber threats. This role involves architecting secure network solutions, implementing robust security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to maintain system integrity, monitor vulnerabilities, and support the organization's security initiatives. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to safeguard the organization's network and data. - Monitor and maintain firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), endpoint security tools, and other critical security technologies. - Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and remediate potential threats. - Automate patch management processes to ensure timely updates across systems and applications. - Oversee the design and deployment of secure cloud-based solutions and role-based access control mechanisms. - Manage security awareness training programs to educate staff on best practices and emerging threats. - Architect and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to prepare for potential system disruptions. - Administer security solutions such as web content filtering, hard drive encryption, and third-party software patch management. - Collaborate with IT teams to resolve security incidents efficiently and enhance overall system resilience. - Mentor less experienced engineers and provide guidance on security protocols and technologies. Requirements - At least 7 years of experience with endpoint protection tools, next-generation firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and batch file scripting. - Strong background in vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and adhering to industry security standards. - Extensive experience working with Linux operating systems and related security configurations. - Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CEH, or Azure Security. - Knowledge of advanced network security concepts, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and SD-WAN. - Familiarity with security architecture principles and the ability to design scalable, secure solutions. - Proven track record of managing patch management processes and implementing security recovery plans.
